Everyone has a story.
Over the past year I’ve seen a lot through the lens of my camera. We have developed quite the relationship. It enables me to really see and feel the moment. Being an empathetic person, I tend to absorb happiness and pain from others. So much, that many times after a tough session, I have to put my camera away for a few weeks and just digest the information I’ve taken in.
I believe this allows me to edit in a way that captures the emotion that was happening in that moment. In the past few months I’ve documented a family that is struggling to say goodbye, a young family doing everything they can for their daughter, an executive female powerhouse, a dynamic and soulful singer, and a few expanding families that they know their secrets are safe with me.
